Thanks to generous grant funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act, the Maine Department of Education, and the Maine Outdoor Learning Initiative, Chewonki is now are able to offer amazing two-week summer learning programs for 50 Maine students at no cost to participating families. 100% of all expenses, including clothing, equipment, food, and transportation will be covered by the grant funding! All trips are for Maine students completing grades 8, 9 and 10. Check out the flyer at the link below:

The Lincoln Theater is very sorry to have to cancel this afternoon's matinee performance of Halcyon String Quartet – Make Way For Ducklings given the weather and school closures. While rescheduling won't be possible at this point, the Lincoln Theater is generously offering free tickets to students 12 and under for this evening's performance at 7PM. We hope to see you there!


3rd Grade went for their final ice skating session at MRC! It was a blast!

Third Grade learned about composting from a representative from Scrap Dogs. Ms. Tracy/Ms. Jenny's class is excited to have their own composting bin in their classroom. They are also excited to learn about vermicomposting and make a worm bin with Ms.
Hedda later this spring.

3rd Grade made the appetizers during FARMs for the GSB Art Show. They had a lot of fun making treats from around the world!

Due to the storm, there will be no school at Nobleboro and Great Salt Bay on Thursday, April 4. There will be a remote day at Jefferson, South Bristol, and Bristol unless there are widespread power outages. Stay tuned for a decision on Friday as we see how the storm progresses. Stay safe!
