Just a reminder that Lincoln Academy will be hosting our 8th Grade Course Registration Night Tuesday, February 13th from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Lincoln Academy Alumni Dining Commons. This informational event is designed to guide families through course registration, review the four-year planning process, and help clarify decisions each student will make in their first year. There will be time for families to ask lots of questions about the many different programs available at LA. All families of 8th graders and transfer students are welcome, including those outside the AOS93 district.
Miss Courtade's 2nd grade class participates in SNAP class by completing a team and strength building bean bag activity!

Ms Leslie, Deb, and Sparkle students helping Kindergarteners learn how to sort their waste.
GSB is excited to announce our new school-wide composting program with ScrapDogs Community Compost. They recently expanded their service area to our neck of the woods and will be picking up our food waste to take back to their commercial composting facility every Thursday. This will divert a huge amount of food from going to the landfill, where it emits methane and plays a significant role in climate change. This is a great opportunity to educate our students about composting, waste reduction, climate change, and being climate heroes.
Boy oh boy... one of those days I guess :) When your double check should have been a triple check! Here's the Friday Flyer for February 9th - the previous links just sent you to the newsletter archive.
Apologies & happy Friday (finally!)!

The third graders rocked their first three ice skating lessons! They have mastered falling and getting back up and are working hard on stopping. We look forward to our final class in March under the disco ball! Huge thanks to the MRC for providing these free lessons to our third graders.
Our third graders are showing great skills in the kitchen! They look forward to their monthly cooking lesson and trying new ingredients. Thank you to the Y and our wonderful volunteers!
