The GSB PTO is once again organizing a Virtual Giving Tree! If you intend to purchase gifts for your child's classroom we hope that you will find this useful. Please give only what you can. At our request, teachers have provided us with lists of wished-for class supplies and they are all in the Signup Genius for you to peruse. We have linked to Amazon class wishlists whenever possible. Don't see your child's teacher on the list? Nut-free class snacks and pre-sharpened Ticonderoga #2 pencils are always appreciated, or consider giving to one of our participating Specials Teachers (PE, Art, Tech, etc) or supporting program leaders (Social Work, OT, Spec. Ed, PBIS, etc). The PTO is also accepting donations via Venmo to ensure that all participating classes receive a gift from their wishlist. You can donate via Venmo at gsb-pto. You can access the Virtual Giving Tree here. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4DABAB2DA5F8C16-46600933-virtual The PTO wishes you all a wonderful holiday season and we appreciate all you do to help your children succeed. If you have questions about the Virtual Giving Tree please contact Natalie Allen penmola@gmail.com

A huge shoutout to the GSB basketball teams for their incredible effort and determination in their first regular-season game against Camden! They brought incredible energy and displayed strong teamwork on the court. Though the final score may not reflect the full story, the GSB players showed excellent hustle, resilience, and a passion for the game that will undoubtedly serve them well throughout the season. This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to see what this talented group accomplishes. Let's keep cheering them on and supporting their journey!

5th grade has been learning all about food webs. Each student was assigned an organism (a producer, consumer, or decomposer) and one student was the sun. We threw string to create an actual web for students to visually see how interconnected everything in an ecosystem is.
