
Jefferson Public Library will be having the annual Children's Summer Reading Program again this year. For ever book a child reads they will receive a ticket, half with their name and phone number will go in a jar with all the rest of the tickets. Once a week a name will be drawn for a $5.00 gift certificate to the Jefferson Scoop. All the tickets will be saved and at the end of the summer there will be a final drawing for a Grand Prize of a $25.00 gift card to the Sherman's Maine Coast Book Shop in Damariscotta.

Mrs. Northrup's class has been busy! Spaghetti marshmallow STEM project with the 5th grade buddies, Hawaiian and Ice Pop Day, Jersey day and Kickball with the 5th & 2nd grades!

Ms. Glidden's Class worked on cleaning out the garden space at JVS




Mrs. Hunt's & Mrs. Olson's Classes went to the Windsor Fairground today for NELE (Northeast Livestock Expo.) They got to explore agricultural exhibits, visit with animals, see insects and learn Maine History. The kids had a blast and this wrapped up their farming unit.







The JVS track team had another great meet yesterday despite the wind and cold!
Cooper Powell broke the school record in the 1600m run and Andrew Zimmerman broke his own school record in the race walk
New qualifiers yesterday were: Liam McNaughton in the Triple Jump, Tyler Waldrop in the 400m, Trevor Hall in the 400m, Shayla Pheng in the Discus and Alex Waltz in the Discus.
Keep up the hard work! Next week is the Championship in Belfast 5/23 at 3:30 pm
