What's a fun activity for a cold, snowy, January day? Planting some seedlings, of course! Each week, Kindergarteners spend time with our Agriculture Coordinator, Miss Hedda, learning about a variety of topics. Today, we planted beans and spinach, and had a taste test of fresh greens! Students had previously placed the bean seeds in clear ziploc bags and taped them to our classroom windows, where they were able to spend several days observing them.
Time spent in the greenhouse is always fun!
Congratulations to the GSB math team for finishing 4th at the Regionals Math Competition yesterday and to our GSB students who qualified individually for States.🎉
GSB third grade students made squash stew, no rise rolls, and a potato and celeriac casserole at Farms Kitchen. Also, you can see they did the dishes as well.
