The third graders loved spending a day at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens! Students spend their time finding trolls, building fairy houses, exploring the Children’s Garden, and hiking the trails.






Join us on October 28 for the 2023 Harvest Fair, a GSB School Tradition! Come celebrate fall while supporting the 8th grade graduation celebrations. Games, refreshments, a haunted house, and a silent auction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


4th grade on a nature walk to the Oyster Midden at the DRA and finding a horseshoe crab skeleton!



The third graders enjoyed a tour of the Frances Perkins Homestead National Historic Landmark on River Rd in Newcastle. They were the first students to visit and enjoyed every moment. We are so lucky to have many educational opportunities in our community.






4th Grade Reading Buddies!











Ms. Tracy’s enjoyed an afternoon of learning with Ms. Hedda. Students brainstorms plants that grow in the fall, dug for potatoes, and tried cucamelons, cucumbers, apples, and husk cherries.

The Great Salt Bay School’s eighth-grade students and their parents invite the community to participate in fall family fun on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay School!
The Harvest Fair is the primary fundraiser to support the annual eighth-grade end of year trip to Boston as well as the graduation celebration. A tradition for over 20 years, the Harvest Fair includes games for all ages, a haunted house, refreshments and baked
goods for sale, and more. A highlight of the event is the silent auction, which includes donations by a number of local businesses.
