Physical education unit for 6-8th grade students. Snowshoeing through the back trails

Kindergarten through fourth graders had a blast on the bluebird day of GSB's Winter Carnival! We had Inland Fisheries and Wildlife officers volunteer their time, along with the Damariscotta Police Department AND Fire Department! We had many parent volunteers and I think I can say, confidently, the students had a blast between the slip and slide, cardboard box sled making, s'mores, kickball, and parachute play but I think GSB staff also had an equally good time! The smiles were abundant, the snow fresh, and we can't wait for Mr. Wallace's 5-8th grade Winter Carnival after break!

The 1st & 2nd multiage class have been working hard on their Continents and Oceans projects!

Mrs. Verney’s Class went to the yurt to plant wildflower seeds. Then, they went to the bus circle and stomped seeds into the snow with Ms. Hedda and Nel.

Kindergartners experimented with building ramps and measured to see which could make a toy car travel the farthest.
