Due to the potential inclement weather for tomorrow morning we are cancelling Jump Rope Club practice for Thursday Feb 27.

Coin Slam 2025
What a day! Students and staff donated more than $750 today.
The total money donated over the three days of the Coin Slam totaled $1200! I
f the coins were placed edge-to-edge they would reach a length of 511 feet. If the coins were stacked they would reach a height of 40 feet!
All proceeds from the Coin Slam go to Caring for Kids and the New Harbor Food Pantry.
The generosity exhibited by the BCS community is amazing. We have raised over $13,000 in 12 years.


In art, first graders made hearts using oil pastels and watercolors. Then they used hole punches on the edge and “sewed” with yarn. Happy Valentine’s Day! - M rs. Cough

BCS staff and students were able to get outside today to enjoy some sledding and snowshoeing before tonight's storm!

Day Two of the BCS Coin Slam
Today we brought in $360 for a two day total of $442! So far we have collected 4,814 coins. Several students were overheard discussing their strategy of waiting until the last day to bring in their coins and currency.
Let's fill those containers the rest of the week!
All proceeds benefit Caring for Kids and the New Harbor Food Pantry.






Day One of the 12th annual BCS Coin Slam is in the books. The Slam had a slow start but several students said they forgot about it. Day Two is ready to go. Let's fill the containers!
Parents and community members can make donations (coins and/or currency) at the BCS office. The proceeds are donated to Caring for Kids and the New Harbor Food Pantry.


Wear your Bristol Blue tomorrow!


Last Wednesday, the BCS book group competed in the Great Maine Book Tournament at Lincoln Academy. BCS placed third in the Kahoot round of student generated questions. South Bristol won the official round and will move on to Regionals. Congratulations to all. -Mrs. Holmes




Celebrate your favorite sports team (or teams!) tomorrow!


The Girls Basketball team won the Busline League Championship on Saturday! Following an amazing comeback in the last couple of minutes, including a three-pointer at the buzzer to tie the game at 33, the Blue Devils went on to defeat Lincolnville School in overtime, 43-38. Congratulations on their amazing season!

Tomorrow will be the 100th Day of School!


The Girls Basketball team is playing in the Busline League Championship at Boothbay Region Elementary School on Saturday at noon. Go Blue Devils!
