Thanksgiving Feast
I am pleased to announce that we are again celebrating this season of gratitude with NCS’s annual Thanksgiving Feast. The community-building tradition of Thanksgiving Feast brings families of students in grades K-4 into the building for a traditional sit-down Thanksgiving dinner prepared by our fabulous kitchen staff and served during the school day with the help of 8th graders and NCS staff. 7th and 8th grade students recently took part in the Lions Club Peace Poster Contest. Pictured below are the top 3 finishers for NCS. Congratulations to Haleigh Wilcox (1st place), Summer Olson (2nd place), and Noelle Vinal (3rd place). The 1st place poster will now be entered into the district-wide contest. Good Luck Haleigh!!
As promised, the Penny War champions celebrated victory with an ice cream party this afternoon courtesy of the NPTO. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving played on the big screen while students enjoyed their well-deserved dessert. GO LIONS!!

Tick Check!
We have noticed a rise in ticks on students this past week. Hopefully, with the cold weather coming and staying, we will see a decline in their presence. However, in the meantime, we will remind students to "tick check" when they come inside and ask that you check them when they get home.
