Greetings to all families!
The Central Office is a busy place at this time of year as we start the budget process for next school year for all of our schools, secondary tuition budgets, and the Central Office itself. We continue to focus on prioritizing safety and security as well as providing the best education and educational experience possible for all our students. Be on the lookout throughout the Spring for your school’s budget meeting notices- we encourage you to attend and participate in these meetings!
From all of us here at Central Office, we wish you all a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season!
Lynsey Johnston, Superintendent

Two students worked during recess to find 2 lost Gaga balls and 12 baseballs in the thorn bushes at the edge of the recess yard. The balls can only be seen in the winter when the foliage is gone. The students took the initiative without any prompting from an adult.

The spirit of giving is on full display here at BCS! Members of the staff recently teamed up with Caring for Kids to help fulfill the wish lists of children in our community. Kids asked for clothes, winter gear, toys, and personal hygiene items, among other things. A special thank you to Caring for Kids for all they do in our community. We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with them. - Ms. Kinney

Reminder: Friday 12/22 is an early release day. Buses depart at 12:00.

First Grade has been hard at work this week! They mixed, rolled and cut out gingerbread to make cookies to decorate at our cookie party on Friday! We can’t wait! - Mrs. Bradbury

Happy Monday, BCS!
The coins have been counted and the results are in! But before we announce the winner, we would like to take a moment to thank all of you for participating in the Coin Slam. We have had a great time competing this week while also raising money for two deserving causes: Caring for Kids and the New Harbor Food Pantry. Both organizations do so much in our community and we are fortunate to have them. A special thanks goes out to grade five who created the flyers for this event and counted the money. Their hard work is much appreciated.
The Coin Slam donations were $3,000!
Now, without further delay, it’s time to announce the winners!
